Our Story
Established in 2019 in the UK, 909 Apparel® was named in honor of Nine-O-Nine, a B-17 built in 1943 that completed 140 combat missions in World War II without loss to the crews that flew her.
About Us
909 Apparel® is an Apparel Brand & Design Studio inspired by Aviation, Machinery & Human Ingenuity.
Our work delves into the archives of Mankind's technological triumphs, celebrating the often-overlooked Aircraft, Machines, Industries & Pioneering People that have helped to shape history.
Our designs go through a rigorous 2-3 month process of research, concept, design, print testing, feedback & refinement before they reach our Store. We work methodically, using archive blueprints, photographs, records & documentation, along with museum & field visits to ensure historical authenticity, quality & attention to detail down to the last rivet.
It takes time, but we wouldn't have it any other way.
Our Mission
Giving back to the community was one of our founding aims. Each year since our inception, we’ve donated a portion of our proceeds to Veterans Charities & Aviation Heritage Organizations.
So far, we’ve supported the RAF Benevolent Fund, Team Rubicon USA, The People’s Mosquito, Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre, International Medical Corps, Laguna’s Spitfire Legacy, Polish Heritage Flight & the 100th Bomb Group Foundation.
The Story so far

We donated £250 from our proceeds in 2020, our first full year of trading, to the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund. The RAFBF does great work supporting serving RAF Personnel & Veterans. Find out more about their work and how you can support it here: https://www.rafbf.org/

In 2021, we donated $400 of the year's proceeds to Team Rubicon, a veteran-led disaster relief nonprofit that unites the skills of military veterans with first responders to rapidly provide relief to communities in need. In 2022, we split our Donation of $500 between 3 organisations.
$200 was donated to the International Medical Corps who provide lifesaving emergency health services to people in need across the world.
$150 went to the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre, who are restoring Avro Lancaster NX611 'Just Jane' to airworthy condition.
$150 was donated to The People's Mosquito who are restoring a UK-built de Havilland Mosquito to the skies of Britain.

In 2023, we teamed up with Laguna's Spitfire Legacy to design a Custom Mk.2 Spitfire Blueprint T-Shirt. With every purchase, we donate 50% of the proceeds to LSL, who's work tells the Story of the 18,000 Polish Pilots and Crews who fought to defend Europe during WWII. In 2024, we designed and released a series of Officially Licensed 'Century Bombers' T-Shirts in support of the 100th Bomb Group Foundation. 50% of the proceeds directly go to supporting the 100th Bomb Group Foundation’s work in preserving & disseminating first-hand historical accounts of the men, missions, and machines that fought in the skies over Europe during WWII. As of November 2024, we have raised $1293 for the 100th BG Foundation. Every purchase directly supports the Foundation, and you can get yours here!

We launched 2 new T-Shirts in support of the Polish Heritage Flight and Bottisham Airfield Museum.
In 2025, our PHF 302 Squadron T-Shirts raised over £262 for the Polish Heritage Flight.
Our BAM P-51 Mustang T-Shirt raised £94 for Bottisham Airfield Museum.
Our Collaboration with Laguna’s Spitfire Legacy continued to raise money for this great cause, and in 2025, we sent an additional £187 over to LSL.
