Air Corps Gunnery School T-Shirt

When Corporal Alexander Le Gerda appeared on the cover of LIFE Magazine in 1942, he became the first person in history to be featured in a major publication wearing a Graphic T-Shirt. This now-iconic cover helped propel the T-Shirt into mainstream culture, setting it on the path to become a universally loved & embraced garment.

This T-Shirt was issued to GIs attending the Air Corps Gunnery School in Las Vegas, Nevada during WWII. We’ve meticulously recreated this long out-of-print design, preserving the original detail and using surviving wartime examples to accurately match the original colour.
