The Eagle Squadrons were 3 RAF Fighter Squadrons formed by volunteer pilots from the USA during the early days of World War II, prior to the US entry into the War in December 1941. The 3 Eagle Squadrons were No. 71 Squadron (formed September 1940), No. 121 Squadron (formed May 1941) & No. 133 Squadron (formed July 1941). Highly motivated, the Men of Eagle Squadron soon established a reputation as skilled Fighter Pilots.
On 29 September 1942, they were turned over to the 8th Air Force of the USAAF to form the 4th Fighter Group. There, they would continue to excel, ending the war with the 4th highest number of air-to-air victories in Europe. Our Eagle Squadron T-Shirt is inspired by this incredible group and is based on Patches worn by Eagle Squadron Pilots.
Crafted with a Classic Navy Premium Tee made of 100% Ring-Spun Cotton, it's Soft & Comfortable, with double stitching on the neckline & sleeves to add extra durability.
