Our Hawker Aircraft Hoodie celebrates an Iconic Company named after founding member Harry Hawker in 1920. Originally called H.G. Hawker Engineering, the Company was renamed Hawker Aircraft Limited in 1933. During the 1930s, a team lead by Sydney Camm, Hawker's Chief Designer, would develop the Hawker Hurricane, an aircraft that was instrumental in winning the Battle of Britain. Tough and reliable, the Hurricane could out turn its main adversary in 1940, the BF 109E, and would account for 55% of RAF Combat Victories during the Battle of Britain.
Hawker would go on to design many more noteworthy aircraft such as the Hawker Typhoon, Tempest, Sea Fury and Hunter. The Hawker name was dropped in 1963. This design is our fresh take on the logo used by Hawker during their heyday in the 1930s.
This 909 Custom is crafted with an Ultra-Soft Hoodie. Soft and snug, it's the perfect choice to keep warm on cooler evenings.
