Our Spitfire Mk.1 1938 Blueprint T-Shirt celebrates the origins, heritage & history of this Iconic British Aircraft, and those magnificent few who designed, maintained & flew it. The Spitfire entered service with the RAF in 1938. The Mk.1 was the 1st Model produced by Supermarine, and in the hands of incredibly brave pilots, performed magnificently in the Battle of Britain of 1940. Powered by a 1030hp Supercharged Merlin Engine, the Spitfire's stressed-skin aluminium structure and graceful elliptical wing gave it exceptional performance at altitude.

The Spitfire was a direct descendant of a series of Seaplanes designed by RJ Mitchell in the 1920s, and to reflect this, the Left Sleeve bears a 1920s Supermarine S-Flag Logo. This 909 Custom is crafted with an Ultra-Soft Premium T-Shirt. It's as comfortable as they come.
