Supermarine was a British Aircraft Manufacturer founded in 1913 in Southampton. Supermarine rose to prominence with its successes in the Schneider Trophy for Seaplanes.

Supermarine's greatest triumph would come in 1936, when a team led by RJ Mitchell designed perhaps the most iconic Fighter Aircraft of all time, the Spitfire. The Supermarine name was dropped after a merger in 1960, but their incredible legacy lives on.
