Supermarine was a British Aircraft Manufacturer founded in 1913 in Southampton. The Company rose to prominence with its successes in the Schneider Trophy for Seaplanes. In these early years, Supermarine used their iconic 'S' Flag Logo, which we've included on the Left Sleeve as a tribute to this pioneering period. Supermarine's greatest triumph would come in 1936, when a team led by RJ Mitchell designed perhaps the most iconic Fighter Aircraft of all time, the Spitfire. We've included a Mk. 1 Spitfire Blueprint on the Back of this Hoodie.
